Stage 2 of the Ho Chi Minh warehouse certified LEED Gold®

Heading to Vietnam for the first environmental certification of the year.

As with all our projects, stage 2 of the FM Logistic warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City was designed with the long term in mind, with a particular focus on balancing environmental and operational performance. From the design stage onwards, important choices were made to reduce the site’s environmental footprint:

• 64% savings in drinking water for sanitary purposes thanks to water-saving systems (for toilets, urinals, taps, etc.) and alternative water sources: a 75 m³ rainwater collection tank for toilets and watering green spaces designed to withstand the local climate.
• 50% energy savings thanks to a high-performance building envelope and high-efficiency systems (LED lighting, forced natural ventilation).
• 90.3% of construction waste recycled and only 3.2 kg of waste generated per square meter built.
• A reduction in the heat island effect thanks to a white roof, light-colored concrete roads, and green spaces.
• The choice of low-pollution materials to ensure better indoor air quality.

Today, these choices have been rewarded with LEED Gold® certification.
